I have come to a sad conclusion today. Chocolate isn't worth it anymore. The resulting headache and havoc on my critical thinking skills just aren't compensated by measly morsels of joy. That being said, I'll probably still indulge from time to time... but it'll be dark chocolate. And quality. And rare.
Dad, you were right. I'm the one kid, yes, the ONE of five that developed your abhorrent allergy. How's that for alliteration? It's hard to write something decent when your head feels like it's in a vice. I take it back. I take back all those comments about eating chocolate happily until I die, even if it IS the death of me. Though I'd sooner take death than daftness.
